Today I received an email from H.A.R.O. (Help A Reporter Out). It is a list of requests for information for reporters or bloggers to create articles or public relations from.
In today’s email they had a link to a cool infographic about the 8 Mistakes New Bloggers Make.
In that article there was also a link to 101 blog ideas. Well being a blogger and understanding many in my audience also blog (for profit or otherwise), I thought I’d share both the original post as well as some examples of blog posts I’ve done that illustrate the technique suggested.
Hope you enjoy these and get some good ideas for your future blog posts.
Original Post (from another Mike): Running out of blog post ideas? Check out this list of 101 to get your creative juices flowing
Here’s a few of his blog post ideas that I’ve used in the past…
#33 Ask Your Readers to Tweet, Like, and Share the Posts They Like
#50 Build a List
#54 Answer Every Single Comment Personally
#66 Write in Your Everyday Language/Writing Style
#89 Update/Invest in a Customized Blog Post Design
Did you get any new ideas? Is your blogger’s block clearing?
P.S. Yes, he expanded his list from 101 to 135…and if you have a list post you should consider adding to it over time as well. Plus everyone loves list posts…it saves you time and you get some really cool stuff.
P.P.S. If you liked this or have other ideas for blog posts you’ve seen that weren’t covered in the article, let me know.
P.P.P.S. Get blogging already!
